| Race Summary |
|---|
KUTENAI hopped at the start and bobbled lightly, bumped with CINQUANTE CINQ,
settled in behind rivals four wide, edged closer to the inside approaching the
stretch, eased out five wide for the drive, quickly wrested command and drew off
under energetic hand urging. STRIDENT FELLOW, outrun to the far turn, edged up
behind the leaders approaching the stretch, split foes four or five wide in the
final furlong and was up for the place while unable to menace the winner. SHOO
BRUSH, steadied in behind rivals nearing the first turn along the inside, saved
ground for six furlongs, came out five wide entering the stretch, made a run
into the final furlong and couldn't sustain the move. SKY BRIO went up early to
track front-running COWBOY COURT three or four wide, took over between calls
entering the upper stretch but faltered soon after. WESTBRIAR stalked the pace
four or five wide for seven furlongs and flattened out entering the stretch.
BREAK OF THE DAY, in contention near the inside to the stretch, eased out for
the drive and was empty. COWBOY COURT gained the lead at the start, raced near
the inside, kicked clear on the backstretch, made the pace for seven furlongs
and tired. CINQUANTE CINQ bobbled lightly at the break, bumped slightly with the
winner, raced up close four or five wide to the backstretch and weakened
gradually. RED REGENT angled in early, forced the pace three abreast for nearly
a half, then gave way readily.
