| Race Summary |
|---|
KUTENAI, bumped after the start by REASONABLE FEE and forced out on ESTEDAD,
settled early, was put to drive three furlongs out, took over four wide entering
the lane and was going under strong handling to the wire. CHARLIE CARTWRIGHT
forced the pace from early on while three abreast, took over on the turn, made
the pace into the stretch, lost the lead to the winner in the upper stretch,
then held on well the remainder. MY FRIEND TUFF, outrun early, raced between
foes when rallying around the turn and into the lane, then finished willingly.
ESTEDAD, bumped at the start and checked in tight quarters, was outrun for a
half, came out nine wide for the drive, reached contention at the furlong
grounds but lacked a further account. CLASSIC BERTI, up close between foes
early, raced forwardly into the stretch and weakened. RAMONSSPEEDYBAILEY, outrun
for a half, offered a mild gain while six wide. GAS HOG broke awkwardly while
lunging and wasn't a serious threat while passing tired foes. REASONABLE FEE,
bumped at the start by COLLECTOR and forced out on KUTENAI, tired after three
furlongs. I'MTHEDEAL maneuvered in early to force the pace four or five wide and
weakened upon going a half. TRICKIE GOLD leaned in and tightened it up a bit on
ESTEDAD after the start and was through leaving the turn. COLLECTOR drifted out
while breaking alertly and bumped REASONABLE FEE, sprinted clear, made the pace
until approaching the final quarter and gave way readily.
