Race Summary

STORMY SUNDAY gained a slight edge early while dueling four or five wide, opened a clear advantage in the upper stretch, then was kept to her task. FAVORITE GIRL, never far back and between foes early four or five wide, loomed a solid threat outside the winner through the final eighth but couldn't produce the needed response. LIMITLESS LADY, off slowly, moved out seven wide on the backstretch, edged in a bit around the turn, made a bold bid outside the winner in the upper stretch but couldn't sustain the needed momentum. CHAFFED LIPS, in contention throughout and three or four wide, failed to offer a closing account. JOYJOYJOY, outsprinted early and inside for a half, never fired. SPIRITUDE, three or four wide, failed to rally. AILEAN'S ECHO was outrun. CLEVER US contested the pace inside the winner for about a half and faded.
