Race Summary

STEAL THE SHOW bobbled lightly after the start, edged in to track the pace four wide, battled with CUPID'S DIXE while outside that one around the turn, took over for good a quarter-mile out, kicked clear and was kept to her task. CUPID'S DIXIE, up close between foes early, dueled with the winner around the turn, put a head in front briefly between calls nearing the stretch but couldn't keep pace thereafter while saving the place. WIND SURF, never far back, was six or seven wide for the final furlong and offered a mild gain. SABBATH DAY POINT moved to the front inside early, was joined entering the turn by CUPID'S DIXIE and the winner from the outside, continued forwardly until the final quarter and weakened gradually. OVER THE BORDER nicely positioned near the inside most of the way, lacked a late response. ACKLEN weakened early on the turn. MT. STERLING MARY was outrun.
