Race Summary
BUSHFIRE was hustled from the gate, set the pace along the inside, dug in when headed by HELLO LIBERTY turning for home, responded to steady pressure and came again on the rail to get the job done. HELLO LIBERTY pressed the pace from the outside, earned a short lead approaching the stretch, led from the outside past the eighth pole and dug in gamely but could handle the winner late. LAST ROMANCE was urged along early, rallied three wide nearing the stretch and finished well outside. ADIEU raced close up along the inside, was hustled along inside around the turn, came wide into the stretch and stayed on well outside. ERMINE was outrun early, put in a run from the outside nearing the stretch and was going well late. SHE'S EXCELLENT was outrun early, advanced inside on the turn, angled out in upper stretch and offered a mild rally outside. TEAMMATE raced close up outside, chased the pace while three wide and tired after the opening three quarters.
